Dear Members,
We hope this message finds you well. We would like to invite all our members to an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on Thursday, July 11th at 18:30, to be held at Planet Ice Basingstoke.
Agenda for the EGM
Addressing Rumours of Rink Closure
There have been ongoing rumours about the imminent closure of our beloved rink. This has understandably caused concern within our community, and we want to ensure everyone is informed and heard.
Meeting with the Council
We will meet with Council members Paul Harvey and Gavin James on Tuesday, July 9th, to discuss the future of the rink and how it will affect our club. We will share the outcomes of this meeting and what it means for us going forward.
Invitation to Planet Ice Representatives
We have extended an invitation to Heath Rhodes, Chief Operating Officer, and John Neville from Planet Ice to attend the meeting. We hope they will join us to provide clarity and insights from a Planet Ice perspective.
Future Plans
In light of the potential changes, we will also discuss our plans for the future. This includes the 2024-2025 Season.
Your Attendance Matters
This EGM is crucial for the future of our club, and we strongly encourage everyone to attend. Your input, support, and participation are vital as we navigate this uncertain period together.
We look forward to seeing you all on Thursday, July 11th at 18:30 at Planet Ice Basingstoke. Together, we can ensure the best possible outcome for our community and the future of the Basingstoke Junior Bison.
If you have any questions or need further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
